Plywood
150 x 70 x 5cm
This sculpture was born out of a desire to minimize material waste by repurposing plywood offcuts from previous projects.
Through a meticulous process of monolithic lamination, I sculpted the wood freehand, consciously foregoing the typical CAD workflow. By filling the holes in the laminations, I sought to reveal the wood's entire lifecycle, which had originally served as the surface of a climbing wall.
