Bronze

10 x 10 x 10cm

A study delving into the realms of digital augmentation, creating natural crumbling forms that emulate the organic terrain of  Thessaloniki. This research aimed to use technology to reproduce the patterns and textures found in nature, ultimately blurring the line between natural and artificial landscapes. This study involved the use of advanced computer algorithms, 3D scanning and resin 3D printing technology to replicate the intricate and complex surface.

A mould of the 3D-printed form was created to then produce the form in wax before being cast in bronze.
